YOUR MAJESTY IN THE MIST
As I gaze out my window,
At the mountains through the misty rain.
I see a silhouette,
The only sign the the majesty of the Rockies exists.
You come to my mind, Your majesty, Your beauty.
To far off to see through the mist of my mind.
I hear the steady patter of the drops on my window and the leaves of the trees.
As the mist becomes rain,
The rain becomes puddles.
Each drop rippling across the wate in it's own direction uncontrolled.
Only stopped by it's fellow ripples.
As the thoughts of you ripple across my soul,
uncontrolled crashing against one another.
Creating a puddle becoming a whole,
Bringing your majesty out of the mist of my mind.
I sit by the fire, feeling the warmth wash over me.
Watching the bright flames dance and play.
As the thoughts of you become bright and warm,
washing over my body with passion and feeling.
Wishing to my core that we could dance and play,
But alas you are not real, You are not by my side.
You are but a mist in my mind,
Remembering your majesty.
