This is a really stupid question. What is the guy's title who takes responsibility for any printed matter? This is to go on a cover. I've gotten a total brain haemorrhage on this. Please help me out gang

Does English speaking countries even have this system? In Sweden every media produced must have a clearly stated name of a person who takes responsibility and guarantees that the content follows the law. Who is that in England/USA?
Probably "Publisher" or "Editor In Chief" is the closest thing to what you describe.
“To be completely woman you need a master and in him, a compass for your life. You need a man you can look up to and respect. If you dethrone him, it is no wonder that you are discontented, and discontented women are not loved for long.”- Marlene Dietrich
NOTE TO SELF: "Sadistic rat bastard, Sir!" is not a safeword!
Not a stupid question at all ... but I don't know the answer. Over here (England), it is not necessary for there to be a designated imprimatur (is that what you mean?) for published works. Instead, if you are offended by a publication, or it breaks the law, you go after the person with the deepest pockets, be that the author, the publisher, the editor, the broadcaster, the director/producer, or even the distributor or retailer.
All of the profits, however, go to the publisher.
