I prefer horses to most people I know. I grew up on a ranch in a much simpler, and frankly better time. I work in technology but don't feel like I'm part of the technology of the day. I like my toys, but would trade them all for a quiet cabin high in the Rockies.

I was raised to be a gentleman and despise rude behavior and poor manners. It takes such little effort to behave properly. I have a low tolerance for stupid. I'm not talking about IQ or college degrees exactly either. I'm talking about common sense and common courtesy. Both fairly uncommon these days.
