This story reminded me of a porn flick. Sometimes slow. Sometimes fast.

In "100 Days and 100 Lashes" we are treated to author Sam E.'s account of poor Ally who manages to get caught up in the justice system of some third world country for "moral" crimes. There, correction is strict and Ally is humiliated, stripped, and then beaten in a wide variety of ways that should satisfy every single taste as far as crops, whips, lashes, and paddles go.

As far as plot, this story has a rather simplistic one, but frankly since it's technically a "fuck fest" of whipping Ally, it didn't really need a plot anyway. The antagonists are all faceless, nameless brutes, even the female ones, and Ally is merely abused, whipped, humiliated, whipped, caged, whipped, and fed, whipped, and so on. If you like whipping... this story is definitely for you.

From a grammatical perspective the writing is pretty good. Sentence structure is decent and the author does a good job balancing compound and simple sentences.

The only real suggestion I can give the author is not to provide more information than is really necessary. For example, the author takes a great deal of time actually printing out the "rules" Ally has to follow as a prisoner, despite not a single rule really having a major effect on the story except the one about masturbation. Why give us all the rules instead of a paragraph that said "And Ally scanned the rules. Most were expected, but the one that concerned her the most was the prohibition on masturbation. She shrugged. She was hardly in the mood to self-pleasure herself!" See? Instead of boring your readers with having to read the damn pamphlet themselves, highlight the pertinent information and give it. This goes for a lot of this story where there are long drawn out sections of repetitive action that does nothing for the story.

I also think the author either really hates Ally, or really loves having her whipped. TWICE he goes ahead and ups the ante on her punishment until she basically is going to spend the rest of her life as a whipping post. It's fun. It's cruel. It's inhumane. I love it.

In summary I enjoyed 100 Days 100 Lashes. The sexual tension was good, and while the punishments were repetitive, the overall scenes were unique enough that I didn't mind. And while there was no plot progression, since this was merely a fuck fest story (or whip fest as the case may be) it didn't really matter. All in all, a pleasant diversion!
