Good story. And like many good stories, it raises more questions than it answers. Well worth the read. (8/10)

On balance I enjoyed this story, especially the two main characters. The ending bothered me a bit because it appeared contrived. I did not accept the fact that this masochistic lady could have also been a dominant in her spare time. It sort of reminded me of the deus ex machina approach the Greeks took to tidy up their rather convoluted tragedies. The author also did himself a grave disservice by his lack of editing, even to the point of allowing obvious typos to be incorporated into what was a fairly well written story. All this being said, I would certainly read another of this writer's stories if it were posted here. (7/10)

Mr. Martin seems to revel in using the words “cruel” and “brutal”. But so far, so good. We'll see what develops.
