This is a brand new work. I have been doing quite a bit of self examination the past few days and have come to some realizations. This reflects the most important one and it speaks to my current state of mind. I hope it brings you some of the same joy.

I am awe struck at you beauty.
It overwhelms me and takes my breath
It robs of of the words to describe it
It fills me with an immensity of joy.

I am constantly in disbelief
That one such as you would or could
find in me something worthy of your love
and deserving of your affections.

I remain amazed at the luck
that life and fate have construed
in their sometimes fickle attentions
to visit upon me by placing you here with me

I celebrate the love
that has come to me in you
that has gifted to me your presence
your touch, your taste, your warm embrace.

I revel in the happiness
that you bring to me, the joy
that again fills my life, realizing
once more the ecstasy of living with love in my life.
