First, I LOVE the default skin of the forum...high contrast, easy to find things!!
Second, I'm pleased to meet you all, eventually as time goes by of course and I make my way around here.
I'm referred to as a 'Mare' by Husband, a term I like after he defined how he uses it in relation to me. It's a compliment to be sure. We're a Polygamous household--something we never planned on, but Brianna and Lhana were two we just could not turn away and considering what their lives were like before they made the leap to ask for places in our home, they're the first ones to speak about how much better off they are.
We're a Pagan household also, and while some of you might think that means we're at odds with Christians...we're not. We have Christian friends, as well as Hindu, Sikh and a couple of Buddhists and a good number of Jewish friends who respect our faith and we do likewise.
We're Pagans, we look for the Commonalities to build bridges with rather than docus on differences that rip things asunder.
NO, I am NOT here to 'convert' anyone, and overall will speak regarding our faith only when it's needed and relevant.
Brianna and Lhana are our 'Fillies', and that title/name is given the same as 'Mare' is to myself. They will likely be stablishing profiles here also, and Husband might...his time is taken by many other things though.
I like to post pics, might post some of my stories, depending on self-consciousness, and will be quite active here as Life permits.
In addition, we have 5 cats...well 4 and a babycat born on Christmas day/Boxing day. One is a Lynx, and adoptive Mommacat to Vesta, Luna, Essa and babycat Eydis.
Husband's rules regarding Real pics of ourselves is an Absolute; He will not allow it. There was an incident a few years back involving a cyber-stalker and he was away on business. Long story short, I spent 7 days in ICU and only survived because our neighbour heard the battle and came to see what was happening as he knew hubby was away.
So, you'll be hearing about him and his dog Hector, to whom I owe my life.
Now, time to get rolling, read the rules and start being active.
