I just saw the story update. I will read it and comment soon. Meanwhile, I intend on getting your new assignment to you today if I have the time (I should). Also, try to message me when you have made a post - I don't check the block that often since there isn't a ton of activity.
Hey, I am having fits with my internet connection at home. I have tried to post a complete review of what you wrote twice. My connection keeps petering out and nothing gets done. Anyhow, I am at work now so I am going to give you the low down in a PM. It won' t be as complete as what I posted (attempted to post) but it should give you the gist of my critisisms. Dean
Christmas was nice - spent with my family. I am in the midst of painting my house - always fun - but I think I should have time to give you a proper thrashing very soon. I hope you had a nice Christmas too.
Well, it's been hell as you probably figured out. The good news is that, the week after X-Mas I should have all the time in the world. Again, my apologies for this taking so long but, as you mentioned, this time of year tends to be a bear. Have a great winter solstice, merry Christmas or happy Hanukah - whichever works. Of, if you are like my friend who is Jewish and married a Catholic...happy Jewmas.
I got it - twice. The new library set-up may be playing hell with the messaging. Anyhow, you have a PM.
Where has Horatio gone? Did you get the PM for your second assignment?
As far as I know, it is true. There is nothing easy or simple about those cars.
Is it true that you have to remove the engine for replacing the clutch?
My own car is an 86 Mini. I love it, but working on it is hell. You need to dislocate your arms to do anything with the engine. My worst enemy in life is rust.
Don't be taken in by my avatar; as a matter of fact, German cars are way better than American. I had been working on British cars for three years and have to say: some are better than their reputation - and some are even worse...
